PATHWAYS PRESCHOOL OPENING FALL 2009
Autism Journeys is thrilled to launch our Pre-School this Fall. The Pathways program is specifically designed to foster social and emotional growth in children ages 2 1/2 through 5 years. The program is designed for children throughout the autism spectrum and those with similar social and emotional development delays.
The Pathways program will create an environment where children of all developmental levels can focus on creating and maintaining positive peer interactions. The Pathways program will place an increased emphasis on fostering social and emotional growth, while also addressing developmentally appropriate academic skills. In addition each class will receive weekly speech therapy and music therapy. We will be offering 2 classes for the ’09-’10 school year. Each class will have 8 children, 1 lead teacher and 3-4 assistants. Classes will run from late August 2009 through mid June 2010. Tuition will be processed via electronic funds transfer (EFT) in the amount of $450.00 per month beginning August 5th, 2009 and ending May 5th, 2010.
Ages 2 ½-4 years: 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. (Tiny Trekkers & Eager Explorers) Ages 4-5 years: 1:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m. (Super Scouts) Space for this exciting pilot program is limited! Current IDP clients are eligible for early enrollment beginning Monday, June 8th. Regular enrollment begins Monday, June 15th. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
